Stock Market

Part of the long-term securities market, where capital shares of selected joint-stock companies (shares) are traded. These are usually publicly offered shares on regulated markets (stock exchanges). The stock market can be also associated with all derivatives (derivative investment instruments) that are connected with shares and their indices.
